You have questions, we have anwers.

General

Q: How can I apply?

A: Applying at Wooga is quite easy: Just visit our jobs page, select your dream job and click on the “APPLY NOW” button included in the job description. You will be forwarded to a short form, where you can enter your contact information and upload your CV and cover letter. Transcripts, coding samples or your design portfolio are sometimes necessary information, depending on which position you are applying for. By the way: it is not necessary for you to translate any certificates in order to apply. A CV and cover letter in English are just fine.

Q: I am not German. Can I apply?

A: Of course! We have colleagues from over 40 nations and our games are played in more than 150 countries. Therefore, we look forward to receiving applications from all over the world! So, are you ready to join us in Berlin, the coolest city in Europe?

Q: I am ready to join you in Berlin! Does Wooga offer support with my visa and relocation process?

A: Yes. The HR team will assist you with relocating and adjusting to your new life in Germany. We can help with your visa, work permit, registration, and any ongoing needs you may have related to being an expat, or simply to being new to the company. More than 50% of Woogas come from abroad, so many of your colleagues will understand and assist you with the process as well. Getting settled into a new country and culture can take some time, but with the right attitude, you’ll be singing karaoke songs in Mauerpark sooner than you think.

Q: Shall I apply in English or in another language, e.g. German?

A: Please apply in English and attach your documents in English whenever possible. Why? To facilitate exchange and integrate international colleagues, all communication is in English at Wooga. So you really do need to speak very good English to work at Wooga. In addition, for some localization-related positions, we may require you to be fluent in other languages.

Q: Can I also work from home or as a freelancer?

A: Unfortunately this is not possible. We are big believers in the power of sharing the same space, sitting and working as a team. One time zone and one location means quick interactions and fast decision-making. We think this is one of the things that makes us successful.

Q: What are the perks and benefits of working at Wooga?

A: Wooga employees benefit from a comprehensive compensation package that includes public health insurance, paid holidays, paid leave, and an educational budget for personal development.
