Lead Game Designer (m/f)

As Lead Game Designer you will be responsible to conceive all elements and components of a new hit game following the vision of the Producer. You will plan and create game features and modes with a focus on user experience and engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with the Producer and Art Director to make a new hit game come to life
• Come-up with new ideas which will increase user experience, engagement and monetization
• Transform high-level ideas into detailed and well thought-out concepts
• Create wireframe screens and flows for new product features and content (like quests)
• Perform & analyze user testing and recommend design solutions
• Model and document game rules and balance them
• Analyze key performance indicators and user feedback, and modify game concepts accordingly
• Work with product managers, developers and artists throughout the development & lifecycle of a game

Your Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of game design, level design and gameplay theory
• Ability to design a game from beginning to end
• Strong knowledge of game balancing and pacing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Systematic and strategic thinking as well as imagination and creativity
• Management experience, preferably with an experienced design team
• Passionate game player with in-depth knowledge of casual or multiplayer/online games
• Game programming background  a plus
• Strong knowledge of a game’s target audience and market
