    Are you having problems loading or playing the game? Try these steps:


    With Internet Explorer 8

    1. Make sure you have the latest Flash player version. The latest version of Flash can be downloaded HERE.
    2. Delete your Flash cookies by clicking HERE.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer installed. Click here to download it. 
    4. From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History. Click here for more detailed instructions.
    5. Check Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History, and then click Delete. Click here for more detailed instructions.

    With Firefox

    1. Make sure you have the latest Flash player version. The latest version of Flash can be downloaded HERE.
    2. Delete your Flash cookies by clicking HERE.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of Firefox installed. Click here to download it. 
    4. Click the Tools menu from the top of Firefox.
    5. Click Clear Recent History…
    6. Select “Everything” from the drop down menu. Click here for more detailed instructions.
    7. Click Clear now.


    With Google Chrome

    1. Make sure you have the latest Flash player version. The latest version of Flash can be downloaded HERE.
    2. Delete your Flash cookies by clicking HERE.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome installed. Click here to download it. 
    4. Click the wrench icon in the upper right corner.
    5. Select the options menu.
    6. Select Clear browsing data.
    7. Select Empty the cache and Delete cookies.
    8. For “Clear data from this period:” select everything.
    9. Click Clear browsing data.

    With Opera

    1. Make sure you have the latest Flash player version. The latest version of Flash can be downloaded HERE.
    2. Delete your Flash cookies by clicking HERE.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of Opera installed. Click here to download it. 
    4. In Opera, click the Tools menu.
    5. Click Preferences.
    6. Select the Advanced tab.
    7. In the left-hand column, click History.
    8. In the Disk cache section, click Empty Now.

    With Safari

    1. Make sure you have the latest Flash player version. The latest version of Flash can be downloaded HERE.
    2. Delete your Flash cookies by clicking HERE.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of Safari installed. Click here to download it. 
    4. From the Safari menu, click Empty Cache.
    5. When asked: “Are you sure you want to empty the cache?” click Empty.
    6. From the Safari menu, click Preferences.
    7. From the Security dialog box, click Bookmarks.
    8. Click Show Cookies.
    9. From the Cookie dialog box, click Remove All.
    10. Click Done.

  2. Coins & Payment

    1. What are coins?

      Coins are the only accepted currency in Bubble Island. Rumor has it they come from pirate treasure that was buried on Bubble Island many years ago…

    1. What are coins used for?

      You can use coins to unlock flags and to buy more retries when you run out of lives.

      • Retries: If you run out of lives you can buy one more retry for that level so you don’t have to start over from the beginning of the stage or from the latest flag.
      • Unlock Flag: If you do not have enough friends playing you can also spend coins to temporarily unlock a flag you have already passed.

        We will be adding new cool features only accessible by using coins in the future.

    1. How do i get more coins?

      There are three ways to get more coins:

      • Play the game! Every time you beat a level you can win some coins.
      • Play every day! With the daily lottery you will get more free coins for each day you log in.
      • Buy more coins! You can purchase more coins by clicking “add more coins” in the top left corner of the game.

    1. How do I buy coins?

      You can pay with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or PayPal. Payments are done using Facebook’s own payment system and are very safe. Once your payment is complete, you will recieve an email with a receipt for the transaction.

    1. I am having an issue receiving the coins I paid for. How do I report this issue to the developer?

      Please contact us by clicking on the “Payments Issue” link on the bottom of the Bubble Island’s game page. Then choose “Dispute a Payment” from the dialogue box that appears to send us an error report. We will usually get back to you within 24 hours.

  3. Gameplay

    1. What are lives?

      Lives can be used to retry a level after losing. If you run out of lives you must restart at the beginning of that stage or the last flag save point. Lives are awarded based on how many games you and your friends have played in total.

      In Bubble Island, more friends means more levels played and more lives.

    1. How do i get lives?

      Lives are gained through the total number of levels played by you and your friends.

    1. What are flags?

      Progression through a stage can be saved by using of Flags. Flags are “save points” within a stage that you can restart from when you run out of lives.

      There are 2 ways to unlock flags:

      • By using coins (temporary).
      • By getting more friends to play the game (permanently).

    1. What is scoring and how does it work?

      Scores are calculated on a number of factors including how many bubbles were exploded, how many were dropped, shots made that bounced off the wall, total number of shots, time taken to clear all bubbles and more. For each level completed a final score is given. This point value is based on overall score. Your rank amongst your friends is calculated based on overall score.
