Wooga and Carlene O’Connor team up with Titan Publishing to bring June’s Journey to bookstores for the first time

Berlin / London / New York, 30 July 2025 -  Playtika’s Berlin-based studio Wooga®, the developer behind the world’s No. 1* hidden object game*June's Journey®, has partnered with USA Today bestselling author Carlene O’Connor to release Death Wasn’t Invited: A June’s Journey Mystery - an original novel that marks the game’s leap into the world of publishing.

Due for release in March 2026, the book will bring fan-favourite characters June Parker and Jack Hayes from mobile screens to bookstore shelves in a brand new mystery - full of glamour, romance, and roaring 20s intrigue.

Following June’s Journey surpassing 1 billion USD in lifetime revenue in late 2023**, Wooga is expanding its most iconic IP into fiction publishing for the first time. The novel will be published by Titan Publishing, known for its extensive cross-media IP portfolio and global distribution partnerships.

Set in 1920s Paris, Death Wasn’t Invited expands the June’s Journey universe with an original story by O’Connor, best known for her An Irish Village Mystery series. The novel follows June and Jack as they become entangled in a scandalous murder mystery involving two of Paris’ most powerful families.

This project marks a key step in Wooga’s broader strategy to bring June’s Journey to new audiences and storytelling formats. With gaming IP increasingly finding success in film, TV, and publishing, Wooga’s move signals growing demand for interactive worlds that can translate across media.

The completed manuscript was developed in close collaboration between Carlene O’Connor and Wooga’s narrative team, with global distribution by Titan Publishing confirmed for March 2026.
